Currently the destination directory for EJBCA binary files (.ear), JBoss keystore/truststore, as well as some other files is hard-coded (more or less) in the Ant build scripts. This is the case mainly for deployments to JBoss 7/JBoss EAP 6.
It would be beneficial if we could have a configuration option that would designate the destination directory under which the EJBCA binary files and configuration should be deployed. This would allow for a bit more flexibility and separation of JBoss installation from EJBCA instance configuration running on top of it.
This could also make it a bit easier to run multiple EJBCA instances at the same time, while using single JBoss installation.
In case of JBoss 5, we kind of had this functionality by being able to specify the JBoss configuration that should be used (all, default etc).
