      Description

If Enable External Script Access in System Configuration is deactivated and you have General Purpose Custom Publishers configured, you get NullPointerException on some Adminweb pages.

      Pages that show NullPointerException include:

      • Publishers page (/ejbca/adminweb/ca/editpublishers/editpublishers.jsp)
      • Default Adminweb page (/ejbca/adminweb/)

Because the default Adminweb page only show NullPointerException, it can be somewhat tricky for a user to navigate to System Configuration -> External Scripts and check Enable External Script Access.
